Bhutan: Training of Volunteers on Basic Frontline Responders for COVID-19 – Ministry of Health | siha | Ministry of Health (23.04.2020) TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS ON BASIC FRONTLINE RESPONDERS FOR COVID-19 As a part of the preparedness plan for the Worst Case COVID-19 situations, the Ministry of Health has been working on mapping out vulnerable populations, resources, and human resources in the country. According to the health human resource mapping, there are just over 3000 health personnel in the country. Should the country enter into the Red-Stage Plus, these 3000 plus health personnel will be, more or less, involved in clinical management of severe COVID-19 cases in the isolation of hospitals and other regular patients across the country. Therefore, it is expected that there will be more demand for health professionals to manage the cases. In such a case, as deemed appropriate, on command of His Majesty the King, the Ministry of Health has planned to train around 300 volunteers from the Civil Service, Desuung and HOPE Volunteers as the Basic Frontline Responders for the COVID-19 situations. |

März 2020, in Kitas, Kindergärten und Primarschulen ein Überbrückungsangebot geschaffen. Erfreulicherweise bilden sich jetzt spontan Gruppen von Personen, die Kinderhütedienste organisieren wollen. Bei der Ausgestaltung dieser Angebote ist auf möglichst kleine Gruppengrössen zu achten, damit der Zweck der Schliessung von Schulen und Kinderbetreuungseinrichtungen, nämlich die Minimierung von Ansteckungen, weiter verfolgt werden kann. |

Liechtenstein: Short-time work allowance (Kurzarbeitergeld) | rmensing | regierung.li (17.03.2020) Im Sinne einer ersten Sofortmassnahme hat die Regierung bereits am 17. März 2020 eine Verordnung über die Ausrichtung von Kurzarbeitsentschädigung zum Ausgleich der wirtschaftlichen Folgen des Coronavirus erlassen und damit die Anspruchsberechtigung auf von der Coronavirus-Pandemie betroffene Unternehmen ausgeweitet. Zur Finanzierung der steigenden Kurzarbeitsauszahlungen soll ein ausserordentlicher Landesbeitrag in Höhe von 50 Mio. Franken an die Arbeitslosenversicherungskasse ausgerichtet werden. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass die Arbeitslosenversicherungskasse durch den befristeten Verordnungserlass nicht ausgehöhlt wird und möglicherweise in einen Liquiditätsengpass gerät. Um allfällige Liquiditätsengpässe rasch überbrücken zu können, wird als zusätzliche Massnahme die Schaffung eines Gesetzes über die befristete Gewährung einer Ausfallgarantie zur Vergabe von liquiditätssichernden Krediten an liechtensteinische Unternehmen durch die Liechtensteinische Landesbank vorgeschlagen. Das Land gewährt hierfür eine Ausfallgarantie zu Gunsten der Liechtensteinischen Landesbank in Höhe von höchstens 25 Mio. Franken. Unternehmen sollen so ab Montag, 23. März 2020, rasch mit Liquidität ausgestattet werden können. Im Sinne von flankierenden Massnahmen soll zudem eine Stundung der Mehrwertsteuerabgaben sowie der Beiträge an die AHV-IV-FAK-Anstalten ermöglicht werden. |
