Luxemburg leistet sich teures Gesundheitssystem

.lessentiel (08.02.2018) Die Ratingagentur Moody's stellt Luxemburgs Wirtschaft regelmäßig ein sehr gutes Zeugnis aus. Auf die Gesundheitsausgaben des Landes hingegen scheinen die Analysten hingegen einen kritischeren Blick zu werfen. Nach Berechnungen der Agentur sind die Gesundheitsausgaben von Luxemburg doppelt so hoch wie im europäischen Durchschnitt: 6000 Dollar gegenüber 3000 Dollar.

[Analysis] Social Health Insurance in Zambia: Getting the bolt and nut right with Health Economics

Lusaka Times (21.11.2017) According to the WHO, Universal Health Coverage (UHC) means everyone in the country can use the promotive, preventive, rehabilitative and palliative health services they need of sufficient quality to be effective, while being protected from financial loss (WHO, 2017). So far, only 58 countries in the world- 10 in Africa are regarded to provide Universal health care as they have legislation mandating Universal Health care. The question is, is this attainable in Zambia? As optimistic citizens, the answer is a resounding “YES”

Report of the Working Group on mHealth assessment guidelines - European Connected Health Alliance

The stakeholders' Working Group on mHealth assessment guidelines, which the Commission established in February 2016, recently concluded its works. A report, including a few case studies on mHealth, is now available.

While no consensus was reached amongst the represented constituencies on a set of guidelines, the Group allowed for valuable exchanges captured in a report summarising the process and the positions from the represented stakeholders.
