Building on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), this compelling vision opened the door to new commitment, new investment and, most of all, to creativity and the drive to push the boundaries of technology far beyond anything ever dreamed.

[Report] Measuring social protection for long-term care

OECD iLibrary (27.03.2017)  This report presents the first international quantification and comparison of levels of social protection for long-term care (LTC) in 14 OECD and EU countries. Focusing on five scenarios with different LTC needs and services, it quantifies the cost of care; the level of coverage provided by social protection systems; the out-of-pocket costs that people are left facing; and whether these costs are affordable.

azactu.net (23.05.2017) Le bureau international du travail (Bit) a initié un atelier tripartite des mandats de l’OIT et des partenaires au développement en Afrique de l’Ouest et du centre sur la mise en place des socles de protection sociale. C’est dans le but d’aider ces pays de l’Afrique avec un appui surtout technique à atteindre les objectifs de la protection sociale en 2030.

Social care in England is at risk of imminent collapse in the worst affected areas unless urgent steps are taken to address the crisis engulfing the sector, Age UK has warned.

Times Of Oman (27.09.2015) Mandatory health insurance coverage is currently under discussion for residents of the Indian state of Kerala, who plan to migrate abroad from the state, said a top official from the department responsible for the welfare of Keralite migrants.
