Serbia: to offer cash to those who get Covid-19 vaccine

An allowance of 3,000 dinars (25 euros, $30) will be paid to each citizen who gets a Covid jab before the end of May, in what could be the world's first cash-for-jabs scheme.

Serbia: Electronic scheduling for PCR testing on personal request on the eGovernment portal

The government of the Republic of Serbia (02.10.2020) The Office for Information Technologies and e-Administration announced that as of today, on the eGovernment portal, electronic scheduling of appointments for PCR testing on personal request has been enabled. Citizens, foreign citizens with an approved residence in our country, as well as foreign citizens without an approved residence (tourists), can easily and quickly schedule an appointment in one of the 25 laboratories in 22 cities and municipalities in Serbia.

Serbia: Serbia Provides Deferral of Tax and Contributions on Salary and Other Benefits for COVID-19

Orbitax News (10.04.2020) A deferral of the payment of taxes and social insurance contributions on employee salaries and wages for the months of March, April, and May 2020, which can be deferred up to 4 January 2021, with the possibility of payment in up to 24 monthly installments. To qualify, it is required that companies have not reduced their number of employees by more than 10% between 15 March and the date the Regulations entered into force (10 April 2020).

Serbia: Wages in healthcare sector increase by 10% as of tomorrow

Government website (31.03.2020) the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a decision to increase salaries by 10% to all health care professionals in the Republic of Serbia as of 1 April this year.

This increase applies to all employees of health and military health care institutions, employees of health care services in social care institutions, as well as to doctors who work in correctional facilities.

Serbia: State sets aside €5.1b to mitigate coronavirus economic blow

srbija.gov.rs (31.03.2020) The set of economic measures includes a total of nine measures, with an estimated effect of RSD 608.3 billion. Of these nine measures, three are fiscal policy measures, two are direct assistance to the private sector and measures to preserve the liquidity of the economy, and other measures include a dividend moratorium by the end of the year and fiscal stimulus - that is, a direct assistance to all citizens of legal age.
