Content or Discontent? Perceptions of Social Protection in France, Germany and the United Kingdom

OECD iLibrary (12.07.2024) What factors influence satisfaction with social protection? This report investigates differences in perceptions of social protection across countries, with a focus on France, using novel data from the OECD’s Risks that Matter Survey. Compared to respondents in Germany and the United Kingdom, French respondents are systematically the least satisfied with social protection in their country, even as France performs well on many social programme outcome indicators.

The japanese company IDEC, an Vision Zero Supporter who signed up on the Vision Zero website to promote safety, health and wellbeing, has developed this interesting tool to manage wellbeing in times of COVID-19. Leveraging the Vision Zero philosophy to ensure Safety, Health, and Wellbeing, this checklist tool is based on the 7 Golden Rules. It focusses on the Vision Zero aspects of wellbeing, such as a ‘lack of control’ or a ‘lack of social support’ while working remotely, as well as other factors that define wellbeing at home.

marianne.net (05.04.2018) ​L’Assurance retraite a désactivé sa page Facebook ce mercredi 4 avril afin de “protéger les données de ses utilisateurs", suite à l’affaire Cambridge Analytica et le détournement de plusieurs millions de profils d’utilisateurs du réseau social à des fins politiques.
