Czech: Government extends Antivirus B programme for aiding employers through to the end of the year

Government of the Czech Republic (26.10.2020) The government approved an extension of the Antivirus B aid programme through to the end of the year, i.e. until 31 December 2020. Antivirus B can be drawn on by companies that have had to put their employees on "obstacle at work" leave. The contribution will continue to be provided to employers in the amount of 60% of paid wage compensations, a maximum of CZK 29,000 monthly per employee. Mode B thus remains exactly the same as before.

Czech Republic: Late Employer SS Contribution Penalty Relief

KPMG Global (27.05.2020) Reduction in the penalty for late payment of social security contributions payable by employers in the amount of 24.8 percent of their employees’ wages (employer’s contributions) for the calendar months of May to July 2020. If the contributions due for these months are paid by 20 October 2020, the employer will be required to pay only 20 percent of the standard penalty for late payment stipulated by the Insurance Premiums Act.2 The reduced penalty will thus correspond to approximately 4 percent interest rate per annum.

mpsv.cz (31.03.2020) On Tuesday, March 31, 2020, the government approved a proposal to modify the Antivirus employment protection program. This program. The is designed to help businesses protect their jobs . The state will use the Labor Office of the Czech Republic to compensate companies for the funds paid out. This measure will help employers better manage the current situation and will not have to resort to layoffs.

Radio Prague (13.06.2017) Environ 40 000 employés ont été blessés et 104 personnes ont perdu la vie dans des accidents du travail en 2016. Une situation que décrit un article du journal en ligne Denik Referendum. Selon l’auteur de ce texte, le nouvel amendement au Code du travail, actuellement discuté par les parlementaires, pourrait permettre de mieux garantir la santé des travailleurs.
