The report proposes a progressive agenda to take action on health inequalities, and—in doing so—achieve the SDGs on health. Only by simultaneously providing universal health coverage to all populations in Europe and evaluating policies regarding their health impacts can we level the inequalities in health. Doing so promises economic benefits at a national level, but more importantly, it delivers on a basic human right: the right to health, irrespective of place of birth, ability, or socioeconomic background.

EurActiv (05.10.2018) Estonia and Finland will start exchanging digital prescriptions at the end of the year, in a groundbreaking move that Estonian Health Minister Riina Sikkut said she hoped other EU countries will follow. Speaking to EURACTIV.com on the sidelines of the ongoing European Health Forum in Gastein, Austria, Sikkut said that in Estonia, it is common practice for healthcare professionals to use the e-health system to exchange patient medical records.

Jeudi 27 septembre au matin, il inaugurait son « Health Tech Center », qui sur 1 000 mètres carrés, rue de Monceau, dans le 8e arrondissement de Paris, va accueillir 100 ingénieurs cette année – dont la plupart font déjà partie des effectifs de la société –, et 50 de plus en 2019. La structure est appelée à accueillir des intervenants extérieurs pour réfléchir au futur des systèmes de santé.
