Cuba: Adultos mayores y personas con condiciones de fragilidad no deben trabajar y reciben salario

mtss.gob.cu (30.04.2020) Como medida preventiva, el Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social declaró que los adultos mayores en condición de fragilidad, y otros trabajadores en situación de salud frágil, no seguirán laborando. En estos casos los trabajadores seguirán devengando el 100% de su salario básico el primer mes, y 60% a partir del segundo mes mientras durante el período del confinamiento.

boletinoficial.gob.ar (20.04.2020) El Decreto 376/2020 sobre el Programa de Asistencia de Emergencia al Trabajo y la Producción estableció un salario complementario correspondiente al mes de febrero, que consiste en una asignación abonada por el Estado Nacional (50%) para los trabajadores y las trabajadoras en relación de dependencia del sector privado.

Argentina: Créditos para el pago de sueldos

argentina.gob.ar (19.04.2020) Los bancos que sean agentes de pagos de salarios deberán ofrecer préstamos a PyMEs para el pago de sueldos de marzo a una tasa fija del 24% por un año, con un periodo de gracia de tres meses. Además, se destinaron 30 mil millones de pesos al Fondo de Garantías Argentino (FOGAR) para otorgar garantías de respaldo.

Lithuania: For the self-employed: how to get a subsidy during the period of quarantine?

Employment services (31.03.2020) During emergencies and quarantine, the state provides support to the self-employed. Applications for benefits are available to the self-employed from 5 April.

One benefit is granted and paid to one self-employed person, regardless of the number of self-employed activities.

The benefit will also be available to persons exempt from social security contributions: pensioners, the disabled who have started their activity for the first time.

Lithuania: Subsidies to employers during downtime

Employment services (31.03.2020) If the employer declares downtime during the quarantine and the extreme situation, employees should be paid no less than the minimum monthly salary, which will be partially offset by the state. The employers can apply for subsidies to Employment Services from the 5th of April.

The federal government made a series of recommendations to employers and workers at a broad-based themed session yesterday to prevent coronavirus disease.
 
The recommendations are:
 
- Implement special safeguards to prevent the adverse effects on the health of workers by shortening workers' working hours, if the work process permits them
