EDABU: An online application for self-managed data

BPJS Kesehatan (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan) is a public agency established to implement the social security programme. The ultimate vision of BPJS Kesehatan is "Universal Health Coverage"; to provide all participants with health care benefits and protection to meet the basic needs of health care. As Indonesia is fourth most populous country in the world there are a large number of participants, so BPJS Kesehatan is facing constraints in the participants' registration process.

On-line consultation of insured persons' and employers' accounts

The National Social Insurance Fund of Cameroon (Caisse nationale de prévoyance sociale (CNPS)) has developed an online client account consultation tool with a constant view to modernizing its operations and providing its insurees and their employers with real-time information on their status in its records.

Using their membership number clients can create a login and access their personal or company data directly on the www.cnps.cm site. This allows clients to confirm the accuracy of their data and information and request any necessary updates.

Its objective is to transition to e-services so that the citizens have anytime and anywhere access to the services.

With the biometric card, insured individuals will be able to verify the payment of their contributions, obtain all career and status information, simulate the conditions of their upcoming retirement and collect benefit payments at a kiosk.

When a person on a low income is entitled to a reimbursement of health services, the reality of having to manage a household budget on a daily basis becomes apparent.

Paperless social benefits

The paperless benefit documents project consists of eliminating paper (prescriptions, medical treatment forms, etc.), and replacing it with Web application screens starting with doctors and then other healthcare providers (laboratories, pharmacies).
