El Universo (25.06.2019) Ocho transferencias monetarias componen el Sistema de Protección Social Integral. Según el decreto ejecutivo 804, estos son: Bono de Desarrollo Humano, Bono de Desarrollo Humano con Componente Variable, Pensión Mis Mejores Años, Pensión para Adultos Mayores, Bono Joaquín Gallegos Lara, Pensión Toda Una Vida, Pensión para Personas con Discapacidad, Cobertura de Contingencias.

ADB future programs for the Philippines to focus on social assistance, flood control

BusinessWorld (02.05.2019) THhe Asian Development Bank (ADB) said it operations in the Philippines between 2020 and 2022 will focus on social assistance, education and flood control among others. In a statement Tuesday, the bank said it is preparing its 2020-2022 Philippines Country Operations Business Plan, with initiatives including the Expanded Social Assistance project, the Facilitating Youth School-to-Work program and the Workplace Skills Funding pilot project.

Hit and Miss: An assessment of targeting effectiveness in social protection

Development Pathways (March 2019) This paper is the result of a global review of the effectiveness of different methods of selecting social protection recipients, both targeted and universal schemes. The work considered the effectiveness of 38 programmes across 23 low- and middle-income countries, including means-tested schemes and those using proxy means testing, community-based targeting, self-targeted and pension testing.

Jamaica: Equity, social protection and growth

jamaicaobserver (11.93.2019) For FY 2019/20, $20 billion has been allocated across the Government's portfolio of major social protection programmes — a 25 per cent increase from the previous financial year. PATH Conditional Cash Grants will be increased by 16 per cent, while allocations to PATH Transportation, Examination Fees, and School Feeding will increase by 90 per cent, 50 per cent and seven per cent respectively.
