Illinois government announced $270 million in funding for childcare providers through the Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency (CURE) Fund for businesses who lost revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Child Care Restoration Grants will be administered by the Illinois Network of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (INCCRRA). More than 2,500 licensed homes and 700 child care centers in the state that will be eligible for assistance from the new grant program.

The Jobs Support Scheme covers between 25 per cent and 75 per cent of the first $4,600 of gross monthly wages for all 1.9 million local employees.
