$15 million will be made available in direct assistance to employees and self-employed within the hospitality industry that would have been laid off, ceased operations or terminated since March 16, 2020. This includes a proposed one-off payment of $1,200 per employee. This is in addition to the payouts that they may be receiving from their employers.
