09/22/2020 Corona temporary unemployment after September 1, 2020

Since September 1, 2020, the rules for temporary corona unemployment have changed. 

Only sectors and companies recognized as particularly affected can apply for temporary corona unemployment until December 31, 2020. You can therefore only submit a request for temporary unemployment for corona force majeure if you are working for the employer's account:

• which falls within a sector particularly affected by the coronavirus crisis 
• whose company is particularly affected by the coronavirus crisis.

What are the consequences for you as a temporary unemployed person?

My business is NOT recognized as being particularly affected

• I was already receiving corona temporary unemployment benefits

  You can no longer benefit from temporary unemployment due to force majeure corona. You can however benefit from temporary unemployment for economic reasons.

• I would like to submit a request for temporary unemployment for the first time

  This only applies to  temporary unemployment for economic reasons . In this case, you must submit a new request for benefits. Note that from now on, you will have to introduce the C3.2A control card at the end of each month in which there is temporary unemployment.
