The federal government will distribute 323,400 food baskets ("cestas básicas") to serve vulnerable populations - Indigenous peoples, quilombolas and settlers - during the new coronavirus pandemic. The measure will be implemented by the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, and it will have a cost of about R$90 per food basket, with an estimated total cost of R$40 million (USD$8 million).
