Le Monde (03.11.2015) Le taux de mortalité de la population blanche américaine la moins éduquée, âgée de 45 à 54 ans, a augmenté de façon inédite au cours de la dernière décennie, indique une étude publiée, lundi 2 novembre, par la National Academy of Sciences. La tendance est d’autant plus spectaculaire que, dans le même temps, ce taux continuait de baisser au sein des minorités noires et hispaniques. A l’origine du phénomène, une augmentation des suicides et des pathologies liées à la drogue et à l’alcool au sein de la population blanche.
