ILO/News (03.05.2016) ILO Director-General Guy Ryder has paid a two-day visit to Colombia where he met with President Juan Manuel Santos and tripartite Colombian representatives. He also addressed the 9th Ibero-American Conference of Ministers of Labour emphasising the persistent challenges of youth unemployment and informality.

France: Parent solo, quelques aides pour améliorer le quotidien

Le Monde (04.04.2016) En France, une famille sur cinq est monoparentale, voire une sur quatre en région parisienne, selon l’Insee. Et dans 85 % des cas, le parent isolé est une femme. « Le profil des familles monoparentales recouvre une grande diversité. Cela peut être la conséquence d’une séparation, d’un veuvage, d’un parent qui a toujours vécu seul ou encore d’un couple ne vivant pas ensemble  », explique Jean-Philippe Vallat, sous-directeur des actions et recherches pour les familles, de l’Union nationale des associations familiales (UNAF).
