The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs are taking additional measures to support workers and businesses for the period July-September 2020, in practice confirming the Government's continued readiness to intervene in a timely and targeted manner to minimize the economic and social impact of the crisis. .
These measures are as follows:
1. Issuance of the 3rd cycle of Reimbursable Prepayment during the month of August, taking into account the fall in the turnover of the companies in the months of June and July. This cycle will also include sole proprietorships without employees and without cash registers, which belong to the tourism industry.
2. Extension of the provision for subsidizing 60% of the insurance contributions of employers in the SYN-ERGASIA program for the months of August to October.
