Euro zone lenders, Greece make progress on tax, pension reforms

Reuters (20.03.2016) European lenders have made important progress in talks with Greece on tax and pension reforms that are part of a package of measures Athens must adopt to win new loans and debt relief, a European Commission spokesperson said on Sunday.

El Salvador (13.03.2016) Antes de que continúe en la Asamblea Legislativa la ruta hacia una posible aprobación de la reforma de pensiones, la Asociación Salvadoreña de Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones (Asafondos) considera fundamental que se aborde con criterio técnico la problemática previsional del país, invitando a todos los sectores a dar sus aportes al respecto y a evitar los sesgos políticos sobre el tema.

Different models of work and welfare in ageing Europe

Europa/News (03.02.2016) Europe's population is getting older. As a consequence of this demographic trend and recent pension reforms that increased the statutory retirement age and curtailed early retirement options, the number of older workers aged 55 and above increased by more than 12 million between 2004 and 2014 in the EU28, bringing their total number to 38 million.

RTL (28.01.2016) Daniel Bacquelaine veut relever la limite maximale des pensions des salariés et donc relever le montant des pensions des plus élevées. Celles des travailleurs qui gagnent au dela de 53.000 euros brut par an et qui cotisaient à fonds perdu à cause de ce plafond, fixé à 1.672 euros net par mois.
