Automated pension award through a Call Centre
Automated award of the old-age labour pensions from a single point has been successfully implemented since 2013. The advantage of the system is that any person who reaches retirement age can immediately be awarded the pension without collecting documents and wasting time by simply calling a 142 Call Centre. The person concerned gets information regarding the pension amount applicable and the address of the respective bank office where he can obtain his pension card. The whole process takes a few minutes.

A new optimal and secure Cloud infrastructure to reinforce administrative and operational services
The National Social Security Fund (Caisse nationale de sécurité sociale (CNSS)) is considered to be the largest institution in Lebanon in terms of providing social services since it manages more than 1.3 million insured individuals across 37 local and regional offices throughout Lebanon.

A committee, entitled Medical Services and Medical Education (MSME), was constituted to explore various options to improve operational efficiency.
Extension of social security coverage
The extension of the ESI scheme was not progressing at the desired pace. In 2010 the threshold coverage level was reduced from 20 to 10 employees through an amendment to the Act. Moreover, in sparsely populated areas many establishments could not be covered even with the threshold of 10 employees.
Expansion of multi-distribution channels to all workers
As part of the social security reform processes in Indonesia as mandated by the 2004 Law concerning the National Social Security System, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan must cover all workers in Indonesia, in both formal and informal sectors, totalling 120 million workers distributed in 17,000 islands.
