The government of Uganda has begun delivering food packages to 1.5 million vulnerable people in Kampala and Wasiko districts. The food packages include six kilograms of maize flour and three kilograms of beans and salt per head. Lactating mothers and the sick will additionally receive two kilograms of powdered milk and two kilograms of sugar.
