INNOVATIONS TO EMPOWER PRIMARY HEALTH CARE (PHC) AS GATEKEEPER SYSTEM: P-CARE WEB BASED APPLICATION OF THE SOCIAL HEALTH SECURITY AGENCY INDONESIA (BPJS KESEHATAN)

Being one of the largest coverage for health social security in the world, which covering almost 150 million memberships within its first year of implementation, the Social Health Security Agency of Indonesia (BPJS Kesehatan) is holding its commitment Indonesia 19s experience in conducting National Health Coverage (JKN) program.  Using the referral procedures (managed care) to deliver the health services to the members by using the primary care to the members as their first point of health service contact had BPJS Kesehatan facing challenging issues of administration and quality.

Driven by a commitment to providing Australians with access to convenient and cost effective services, the Service Delivery Reform programme (SDR) was announced in 2009. This AUD $1.25 billion programme included transforming the delivery of government social welfare services and integrating three large, separate service agencies into the Department of Human Services (the department).

Service Delivery Reform and our Digital Journey

Driven by a commitment to providing Australians with access toconvenient and cost effective services, the Service Delivery Reform programme (SDR) was announced in 2009. This AUD $1.25 billion programme included transforming the delivery of government social welfare services and integrating three large, separate service agencies into the Department of Human Services (the department). In 2012, the department also assumed responsibility for developing a single, secure government digital service (known as myGov) to improve Australians access to online services.

Good governance and service quality

The Employees  Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India provides social security benefits to its members in terms of provident fund and old age pensions under the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (referred to as the Act hereafter), enacted by the Parliament of India, which extends to the whole of India except the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Excellence Award for Occupational Safety and Health

The Social Security Corporation (SSC) launched an Excellence Award for Occupational Safety and Health in the year 2011 for the firms that comply with the occupational health and safety standards. This initiative included an award for individuals to encourage them to provide new ideas and contribute to raising awareness regarding occupational health and safety standards in the work place, and to decrease the probability of work accidents.
