Public Authority for Social Insurance since its inception has assumed in its endeavour to proceeding with the strategic core of social security culture and responsibility. Public Authority for Social Insurance aims to raise social security awareness level and its importance to individuals, family and the society. There are communities with high levels of social welfare supported by the government. Social security knowledge has almost vanished on both the national and the individual level that played a main role in the full knowledge of managing retirement funds philosophy and social security absence. It influences the development plans aimed to expand coverage and improve benefits. The purposes of this award are to encourage and attract qualified persons to enhance the scientific research related to social security. Public Authority for Social Insurance in Oman presents this award once every two years in order to select the best scientific research related to social security for participants holding Doctor of Philosophy, Master, Bachelor’s Degree and undergraduates. Winners receive either cash or other awards.
