All companies must comply with health and safety regulations. However, the safety procedures and the spread of information about the subject are not sufficient to avoid accidents. It is really useful for companies to create a network and cooperate actively to improve safety. Our good practice is the result of collaboration in the project “A Modena la sicurezza sul lavoro, in pratica” (www.sicurezzainpratica.eu) promoted and supported by INAIL (Modena and Emilia Romagna), which has already many collaborators and provides a network of support for prevention activities in workplaces. Nowadays the practice involves the active collaboration of over 2000 members, including over 700 companies. The 16 themed workshops, organized since 2010, have had an average participation rate of more than 160 people in each conference. Our goal is to share experience in order to facilitate the identification of critical issues, their causes and their possible solutions and improve knowledge in order to implement an effective process of work health and safety procedures, with a new approach to risk management.
