The 35th ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) Board Meeting will be held on Sept. 17-21 in central Nha Trang city with the participation of some 170 delegates from 10 Southeast Asian countries.

In addition to representatives of 19 social security institutions from 10 ASEAN nations, the meeting, themed "The 4th Industrial Revolution and ASEAN Social Security Development", will feature speakers from the International Social Security Association, the World Bank, the International Labor Organization, the World Health Organization, a South Korean agency and a New Zealand university, according to the Vietnam Social Security on Friday.

The Vietnam Social Security will take over the rotating ASSA chairmanship this year. This will be the fifth time the Vietnamese social security institution has chaired the ASSA Board Meeting.
