US spends big on health care but doesn't get much back, study says

CNBC (13.07.2017) Health care accounts for 16.6 percent of U.S. gross domestic product. Despite the amount the U.S. spends on health care, its system ranks dead last in a study of 11 high-income countries. The U.S. is the only nation included in the study that does not offer universal health insurance coverage.

WHO estimates cost of reaching global health targets by 2030

WHO (17.07.2017() The SDG Health Price Tag, published today in The Lancet Global Health, estimates the costs and benefits of progressively expanding health services in order to reach 16 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) health targets in 67 low- and middle-income countries that account for 75% of the world’s population.

Le Monde (07.07.2017) Le jour de carence pour les arrêts maladie dans la fonction publique sera rétabli dès 2018, a annoncé jeudi 6 juillet le ministre de l’action et des comptes publics, Gérald Darmanin. Et ce « conformément à l’engagement du président de la République », qui avait fait de sa restauration une promesse de campagne.
