The Social Security Corporation (SSC) in its efforts to enhance and improve the quality of services has started to link electronically with the main stakeholders' databases. Actually, the systemic electronic exchange of data between SSC and the partners, stakeholders, and counterparts stems from its strategic orientation to deliver high quality services. To achieve this, SSC has signed bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding with both private and public sector organizations.
Preparing the Strategic Plan of the SSO Investment During 2014-2019
The current law of the Social Security Organization of Iran dates back to 1975, in which one of the financing resources is investment. Before 1986, investment had been merely limited to depositing and after that the Social Security Investment Company (SSIC) was established as an independent entity in which all the affairs related to investment, mostly high risk assets, have been performed.
The Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI) was facing network performance issues on remote sites, so we looked at developing a comprehensive approach of WAN optimization and branch office consolidation. Certain applications require very low latency for break free communication e.g. Voice over IP, FileNet, office automation.
As a first attempt, the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI) prepared and adopted the first phase of its strategic plan to cover the period 2011-2015. Unified communication is an increasingly important investment for organizations looking to improve productivity and responsiveness while reducing their IT costs. As globalization has enabled various kinds of international exchanges to take place more frequently, the number of companies entering into other markets, detached workers, and migrants have increased. In the current context of the pension scheme in Korea, low-income employees at small businesses have a higher risk of falling into a blind spot, not covered or benefiting from the social insurance, as they are reluctant to enroll due to the financial burden the pension contributions place on both employers and employees. The Korean society recognized the need to strengthen the social safety net for the vulnerable, particularly those at the lower end of the wage scale.
Registering employees as contributors in GOSI's (General Organization for Social Insurance) system as soon as they are employed by establishments is a vital step as it ensures the social security of those employees. Unfortunately employers sometimes are late in registering their employees, or the registration might contain missing or incorrect information, which can be detrimental to their wellbeing, and this usually happens to expatriate workers.
The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) issues certificates to contributors which contain all previous employment information of an individual. These certificates are used by different agencies for different purposes. They serve as proof of employment, proof of a certain income level, proof of working experience, etc.
