According to ILO Conventions including No. 19- Equality of Treatment (accident compensation), No. 118- Equality of Treatment (social security), and No. 157- Maintenance of social security rights, providing equal access to social security protection for the migrants has always been one of the major concerns of the Iranian Social Security Organization(ISSO). In this regard, due to the increasing number of Iranian population residing abroad on the one hand, and foreigners immigrating to Iran on the other hand, and in line with our general policy on Insurance Coverage Extension, the ISSO established its new organizational structure to facilitate and accelerate insurance service providing to the abovementioned groups.
