Panama will apply a reduction of 30% to 50% for all its consumers of electrical energy,which will benefit more than one million customers,as a mitigation measure due to the economic crisis generated by COVID-19. The measure will grant a 50% reduction in the electricity rate to customers who consume from 0 to 300 kWh,which represent about 70%. Adjusted on 24 June 2020: Originally planned to end in June,the discount was extended for 3 months.
