For many families,the corona crisis has meant financial losses or additional financial expenditure. For every child who is entitled to family allowance in September 2020,there is therefore a child bonus of EUR 360. The payment is made automatically and without application. This also applies to people who receive increased family allowances,for example people with disabilities.

The Federal Government's measures support a family with an average of 1000 euros.

Sample calculation: full-time over 2000 euros gross (salary of one parent)

350 euros relief by lowering income tax
Two children: 720 euro relief through child bonus
The result: 1070 euros more money
