The institution implements specific information dissemination campaigns to generate awareness of programme changes and specific information about members’ responsibilities.

The aim of such campaigns is to foster a sense of responsibility in every stakeholder about the contribution process.

  • The results of these communication campaigns should be measurable in terms of operational impacts.
  • The management should define the expected outcomes, content, media and communication approach for each campaign. Social media may be used, depending on national regulations and the institution’s communication strategies.
  • The management should consider the cost–benefit aspects of these campaigns.

  • The management should design and implement information and dissemination campaigns to generate awareness of social security programmes, and establish duties and responsibilities to manage them.
  • Where there have been historical problems such as poor service, fraud or data loss, the management should develop a specific programme to improve the reputation of and confidence in the institution.
  • The management should define evaluation mechanisms for the different projects and approaches.
