Compensation scheme for September to December

The compensation scheme will be continued with a limit of NOK 200 million, but will be reduced to 70% compensation from October and 50% from November. For October to December, it will only be possible to receive compensation for canceled events. The announcement and application form will be ready as soon as the regulations are in place.

The Ministry of Culture will extend the scheme to apply to events that are canceled as a result of all public orders, not just state ones.
The change is subject to ESA approval.

Compensation scheme for the period 1 May to 31 August

1100 applications for the compensation scheme have now been processed.

Canceled, postponed or changed projects as a result of the corona crisis

As of the application deadline of 2 December, projects that have received grants cannot be canceled and the grant funds retained.

The Cultural Council will continue to show spaciousness in the assessment of reallocations, changes and postponements. This must be applied for as normal.
