The IMSS announced support measures for workers to reduce their mobility and prevent risks of contagion during the health emergency caused by Covid-19. Benefits for temporary incapacity for work (due to occupational risk, illness or maternity) can be requested online
Disability is issued remotely and payment of the benefit is made by deposit to the bank account, while maternity disability applies to women who are between 34 and 40 weeks pregnant.
