The Ministry of Finance and Transfers announces that today, the Kosovo Treasury has executed the payment of all pension and social schemes for over 310 thousand beneficiaries, a few days before the regular time, due to the pandemic situation and in respect of the official holiday of the Great Eid.
Therefore, the beneficiaries are asked to have extra care, avoid queuing or gathering in front of the counters, in accordance with the instructions from the health institutions:
- UTILIZE AUTOMATIC MACHINES (ATM) FOR WITHDRAWALS and do not make immediate withdrawals, as they can create unnecessary queues and endanger their health.
- WITHDRAWALS OF FUNDS TO BE MADE IN CONTINUITY and at a time when there are no many visits or movements, in order to prevent the spread of ‘corona virus’, or
- USE PAYMENTS WITH BANK CARD at no extra cost (no cash withdrawals)
In this case, we reiterate that the banking system is quite liquid and stable, the bank branches are well supplied with cash and the funds in your bank accounts are completely secure.
