Regarding the provisions on insurance coverage extension to female-headed households which are supported by “Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation” (IKRF) and “State Welfare Organization”(SWO) with the aim of reducing poverty and avoiding social injuries, the Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO) launched to provide the self-employed insurance coverage to the above-mentioned households since 2011, in the case of being introduced by relevant protective entities (IKRF & SWO). Meanwhile, the total/share of their insurance contribution would be paid by the aforesaid entities or the “Organization of Targeted Subsidies” of the I.R. Iran.
