Execution of a “physical census of beneficiaries” in all communes nationwide

Despite the age of the institution established in 2010, the National Pension and Occupational Risks Office for Civil Servants, Magistrates and Judicial Personnel (Office national des pensions et risques professionnels des fonctionnaires, des magistrats et des agents de l’ordre judiciaire – ONPR) every  March  since 2012 conducts a physical census of beneficiaries across the country in order to update its database and deactivate beneficiaries who no longer fulfil the conditions for the award of benefits.

So far, 4,742 beneficiaries have been identified nationwide, 113 of whom were visited at home due to illness or physical weakness, and 92 beneficiaries deactivated.

The census also offered an opportunity to distribute accident notification forms to members of the occupational risks scheme, distribute calendars to provincial departments affiliated to the ONPR in order to increase the agency’s visibility. Display the conditions and list of documents required to claim benefits in all communities nationwide, give clarifications on questions posed by members and beneficiaries, and collect the telephone numbers of all members to be able to inform them of the status of their individual accounts at the end of each year.
