Online Payments Inquiry and Bank Account Submission System

According to Law No. 5510 (Social insurance and Universal Health Insurance Law) some short- and long-term ınsurance benefits and similar payments, called 'Personal payments’ are paid through the beneficiaries' ID number on the 8th-14th days of a month. If someone who has payments sent to the bank misses these pre-determined days, the benefits are sent back to the SSI’s accounts. This process is repeated every month until the individual receives the payment.

The payments used to be sent to the bank but not to the individual’s account, so beneficiaries had to go to the bank and stand in line to receive their benefits. But with Online Bank Account Submission System, beneficiaries can submit their bank account details on-line to SSI via the e-government website so they are able to receive their payment through their bank account.

Beneficiaries can also query the Payments Inquiry System to know whether any payments have accrued. Also, if they submit their phone number or e-mail account they will be informed by text message and/or e-mail when a payment has been sent to their bank account.
