The ISSA Guidelines for Social Security Administration were prepared by the ISSA General Secretariat with the ISSA technical commissions.

The ISSA Guidelines on Return to Work and Reintegration were produced under the auspices of the ISSA Technical Commission on Insurance against Employment Accidents and Occupational Diseases chaired by Joachim Breuer of the German Social Accident Insurance (Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung, DGUV) and in cooperation with the National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR) and Rehabilitation International (RI). The Guidelines were prepared by a working group of experts led by Bernd Treichel of the ISSA and Friedrich Mehrhoff of RI and DGUV, with the involvement of Jutta Busch. Expert support and contributions were provided by Wolfgang Zimmermann and Joyce Gravelle of the International Disability Management Standards Council (IDMSC) and NIDMAR, Donal McAnaney of the Global Applied Disability Research and Information Network (GLADNET) and of the Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences (PCU-WHS), Linda Nkemdirim of NIDMAR and PCU-WHS, and Jan A. Monsbakken of RI.
