  • Taking into account the legal and regulatory framework, the management clearly defines employers’ and workers’ obligations and develops business processes to ensure they are fully met.
  • The institution encourages the accountability of workers, jobseekers and employers and develops information and awareness campaigns for this purpose.
  • The management monitors compliance with regulations and takes action to prevent fraud and abuse.

  • The institution is responsible for facilitating the return to work by offering workers, jobseekers and employers adequate services, adequate information and appropriate guidance.
  • Eligible workers without employment have the right to a replacement revenue and guidance. They are responsible for actively seeking appropriate new employment, participating in employment service programmes or undergoing training.
  • Employers are responsible for training their workers. In cases of partial unemployment, accident or ill health, they are also responsible for allowing the worker to return to work as soon as possible, and if necessary, temporarily adapting the working conditions. Employers are responsible for replying to jobseekers’ applications. Employers are also responsible for registering their employees with social security schemes and paying contributions in line with the law.
