Development of a Customer Profiling model to assist in case management and activation

Research has shown that the prevention of long-term unemployment is important from both economic and social perspectives. Long-term unemployed individuals suffer from skill erosion and encounter difficulty in re-entering employment. In the wider economy, welfare payments and lost revenue mean that long-term unemployment entails substantial financial costs.

Ageing at work

Ageing at work was a two year project (2007-2009) within the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 of the European Commission.

The project was led by Prevent in Belgium and has partners in Greece (EWORX), Ireland (WRC), the Netherlands (TNO and Hogeschool Utrecht) and Poland (NIOM).

Project Aims

The project aimed at producing, testing and promoting training for human resource professionals on age management with a particular focus on health (i.e. integrated workplace health management).

Interoperability Standard for Social Protection Bodies (INTEROPS)

In 2004, the Ministry for Social Affairs launched a study between the various bodies to define the joint rules applying to the interoperability of information systems. This study resulted in the definition of the INTEROPS standard in 2008. In principle, this standard is based on trust between the bodies. It is intended for officials working for the bodies and offers a secure system of extension of access and authorization rights and guarantees traceability.
