The Fund is taking its cue from health advisories for physical distancing during this period and will be carrying out bulk of the assistance processes digitally. FNPF is liaising with Employers to ensure members in the affected areas that have been prioritized, are assisted.

The Fund is taking its cue from health advisories for physical distancing during this period and will be carrying out bulk of the assistance processes digitally. FNPF is liaising with Employers to ensure members in the affected areas that have been prioritized, are assisted.

General Information

  • Assistance will be provided to members whose employment or business has been directly impacted by the health or economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. There are two categories of members that qualify for assistance.
  • For Category 1, the Government will subsidise the balance for members who have insufficient General Account eligibility.
  • The affected member will need to access the COVID-19 Assistance Application Form from his/her employer.
  • Payment options available are Direct Transfer to members’ bank account, Telegraphic Money Order through Post Fiji or M-Paisa.
  • This process is to ensure the avoidance of large crowds gathered in our offices, as aligned with the Ministry of Health advisories on COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Who can apply for assistance?

Members who have:

  • reduced working hours;
  • been sent on leave without pay;
  • reduced wage rate;
  • terminated or permanently laid off.

How does the top up work?

If the member has insufficient funds in their FNPF General Account, they will be entitled to a government top up to the maximum assistance amount available.

Where can I access the form?

Your employer will contact you as they will receive the form from FNPF.

How can I lodge my application?

You will need to complete the form and hand back to our employer with the requirements. Your employer will submit your application on the FNPF Employer Online Portal.

What if I my employer is closed and out of reach OR if my employer is in the locked down region and I am unable to contact the employer?

For only this reason, can you download the form from our website www.myfnpf.com.fj, or pick up the form from the Fiji Post Office or District Office. Once you complete the form, you can email it to  or you can drop it off at the DROP BOX provided at any FNPF branch.

How long will it take to process my application?

Processing is 5 working days from when the application is received.

Who can apply for assistance?

Taxi/Mini Van/Hire Drivers

Any FNPF Member with a Class 3 or 4 license driving a Taxi, Mini Van or Hire Vehicles and has General Account Eligibility.

Small Enterprises

Any FNPF Member whose enterprise has a turnover or total assets between $30,000 to $100,000, employs between 6 to 20 employees, has General Account Eligibility and has been operating for over 6 months.

You can download the form from our website www.myfnpf. com.fj or pick up the form from the Post Fiji or District Office.

How can I lodge my application?

Once you complete the form, you can email it to  or you can drop it off at the DROP BOX provided at any FNPF branch.

How long will it take to process my application?

Processing is 5 working days from when the application is received.
