Training workshops on common diseases in ageing period of life-cycle Ageing trend as a reality of the society is attracting attention in many countries. As regards the emerging health care necessities of the ageing population, the Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO) has designed and implemented a plan including training workshops to improve knowledge of its pensioners who are mostly over 60, and also enable them to be more active and sensible to their health status. The plan was firstly conducted in some provinces and because of its potential and overall created satisfaction, is going to be implemented nationwide.
