Since 1993, the Bank Employees’ Pension Fund (Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones Bancarias – CJPB) has been providing “Support Sessions for the Retirement Process” with the participation of thousands of members.
The event targets members and their partners who have recently retired or are approaching the end of their working life, in order to help them in their retirement process and assist in the development of a “Second Life Plan” through workshops that promote personal development and generate rewarding, productive and healthy daily routines.
The workshops are conducted by a group of highly qualified trainers under the supervision of a sociologist with an M.A. in social gerontology, covering topics such as physiological changes, psychological aspects, social integration, leisure time management, etc.
The high level of satisfaction expressed systematically in post-event evaluations has encouraged us to continue promoting this activity. It has become one of the services of greater interest provided by our institute to its affiliates as part of the Strategic Plan, which aims at the fulfilment of our mission.
