The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) issues certificates to contributors which contain all previous employment information of an individual. These certificates are used by different agencies for different purposes. They serve as proof of employment, proof of a certain income level, proof of working experience, etc. As the demand for these certificates continues to increase, and to make them available for the widest possible number of people, GOSI has started its e-Certificate programme, which enables contributors to issue certificates, one that can be easily verified and is resistant to forgery. In this programne, GOSI is complying with the ISSA Guidelines on Service Quality.
