Mechanism
- The management should institute training sessions for occupational health professionals and/or signpost professional development opportunities provided by other institutions on the benefits and practice of health screening.
- If feasible and desirable, the management should establish an incentive scheme to encourage the development of health screening in client enterprises/organizations. This scheme should be based on the principles of good practice, i.e. using appropriately trained staff, providing advice at the time of screening to reduce employee anxiety and speedy referral to a doctor (either work or community based).
- If feasible and desirable, the management should establish a health screening service that delivers services to client enterprises/organizations based on a service fee.
