Mechanism
Mechanism
- The employment “observatory” should monitor demand for employment and qualifications in order to identify at-risk workers.
- The management should put in place targeted programmes to facilitate reintegration of workers belonging to at-risk groups, notably by supporting the development of new skills.
- Given that it is more difficult to reintegrate at-risk jobseekers than to maintain at-risk workers in employment, it is important for the management to organize preventive programmes to support at-risk workers.
- Skills and abilities should be identified and leveraged in order to find a sustainable approach that would facilitate long-term employment.
- The management should ensure that the legal framework provides adequate measures of support for workers and their employers, and, if necessary, should make appropriate recommendations and propositions.
