Mechanism
- The reports submitted by the management to the board should be cross-validated within the institution and made available to stakeholders.
- The management should provide stakeholders and the general public with complete and easy-to-understand statements on the status of the institution and its operations through educational campaigns and all appropriate communications channels available to the institution including, in particular, a regularly updated website.
- The reports should be prepared using internationally accepted standards such as the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
