The Family Branch is at the heart of solidarity policies and provides support for the most vulnerable individuals. Its organisation and service delivery prioritize access to entitlements – now a key public policy issue.
In 2014 the Family branch implemented a new service with a renewed focus on identifying and accessing available entitlements and services called the “entitlement meeting”.
The aim of an entitlement meeting is to enable all beneficiaries to actually receive all benefits and services that their situation entitles them to, by improving the information and advice they receive and taking a targeted, proactive approach.
During the interview, the National Family Allowances Fund (Caisse nationale des allocations familiales (CNAF)) works with beneficiaries to review their overall situation, looking at all available family and social benefits and, where necessary, directing them towards services or initiatives managed by partners.
