The communication unit develops a set of indicators to assess the effectiveness of the materials, forms of media and tools that are used to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • The head of the communication unit may commission a team to develop indicators to assess the effectiveness of the communication materials, forms of media and tools that are used by the institution.
  • The indicators to assess the quality of the communication materials, forms of media, and tools should consider the following characteristics:
    • Communicative effectiveness of messages;
    • Design;
    • Impact on corporate identity;
    • Comprehensibility of language;
    • Transparency;
    • Reliability of information;
    • Accessibility to all stakeholders, including taking account of cognitive and physical impairments such as disabilities;
    • Technical quality of the tools to meet the most widely used standards governing online and offline techniques (ICT).

  • The head of the communication unit should propose to management a set of indicators to be used for evaluation purposes.
  • The communication unit should be responsible for reporting regularly on performance of indicators.
