Rehabilitation services

One-stop-shop for treatment, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, spinal injury care, counselling and vocational training of employment injury victims. Our Centre has an 18 bed ward for severe spinal injury cases, where paraplegics and quadriplegics are admitted. The Centre has managed to reduce impairments, minimize disabilities and prevent disabilities from transforming into handicaps, all arising from employment injury.

The Centre's social worker is instrumental on return to work programmes helping in the settlement of grossly disabled workers back into their communities. He oversees alterations to dwellings, so that wheelchairs can freely move in and out. We construct special blair toilets for those who settle in rural areas.

We conduct quarterly follow up visits to grossly injured workers in order to offer continuous welfare support and institute early intervention to health complications. We economically empower grossly disabled workers through vocational training and providing them with capital to start their own projects. Grossly disabled workers are provided with constant attendants trained at the Centre and are paid monthly by the National Social Security Authority (NSSA). Our Centre is a unique distinctive one-stop-shop, manned by a team of dedicated professionals.
