- The workplace health promotion team should have, or have access to, all the skills necessary to conduct a health needs assessment: data collection, analysis and interpretation, community consultation, communication and consensus building.
- The management, in consultation with the employer and workplace health promotion team, should identify the goals of the health needs assessment, which should be aligned with the social security institution’s workplace health promotion mandate and role.
- The workplace health promotion team should develop a health needs assessment plan which includes assessment methodology and timing.
